Mike’s Korean BBQ

Our friend Mike is a great cook, and after our last cookout together, everyone begged for his Korean BBQ recipe. So, here it is:

Mike’s Korean BBQ

6 tablespoons soy sauce (Substitute Tamari soy sauce if you need the dish to be gluten free.)
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
1 tablespoons flour (substitute corn starch for gluten free)
1 clove garlic, minced
1 green onion, chopped
1 pinch ground black pepper

Mix all ingredients and use to marinate meat.

Mike says, “We use either short ribs or thin-sliced ribeye. We marinate overnight, if possible, to soak up more flavor. We grill the meat outdoors or broil in in the oven and serve over steamed rice.”
